At the moment I have a WTB saddle on every bike I ride. On my mountain bikes I am using the Speed V and I have been trying out a Devo while riding my road bike on the trainer. Without question the Speed V saddle is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden on a bike. I have tried various saddles, ranging from stock saddles to the Minkow Wedge Specialized Body Geometry saddles. WTB Speed V is far and away the most comfortable seat I have ever laid buns upon. No numbness, no discomfort, and it comes in pink. The "Love Channel" is carved out to make sure that pressure is not being applied to places it shouldn't be and as far as I'm concerned it has worked.
This winter I snagged a demo WTB Devo saddle from the shop to replace my Selle Italia Trans Am on my road bike. It is far better. The seat makes contact where it is supposed to and doesn't where it shouldn't. Although I am riding mostly on the trainer at this point, I would say that due to a lack of variety in riding position, this saddle has proven most comfy. No numbness, etc. Even though the demo saddle I am using has cromoly rails, it still feels light and actually matches the yellow paint scheme of my bike.(How do I get Bob to let me keep this saddle?)
All in all being comfortable in the saddle is likely the most important factor to having a good riding experience. Without question WTB Speed V are super comfy(even Grasshopper agrees). The Devo model has also proven very comfortable. Most of their saddles are available with titanium rails for riders concerned with every gram. If you ar ethe least bit dissatisfied with your current seat, swing by the shop and demo one of the options we have in stock from WTB. Because of the wide variety of lengths and widths that WTB provides, it's likely you'll find something that fits right and feels good.
